Okay, so it's been a while.....

Well today is 18 November and congratulations to Phil & Vicki who, at 2.55am, brought little Christopher Morris into the world weighing 9lb 2 - We're awaiting pics!!! Congrats to you both.

Mat and I went to Manchester, for the weekend, i'd like to say to see Shaun but if the truth be told it was purely to stuff our faces (Love you really Shauny)!!! The Christmas markets opened and we ate our body weight in chocolate, bratwurst and fried potatoes and if that wasn't enough Shaun and Mat still managed to eat a pig in a roll with sage and onion stuffing - This was all washed down with copious amounts of Gluwhein, hot wine and hot cider, needless to say, last night I had a migraine!!!

Driving back today through sleet and rain we discovered that you really do have to be a twat to drive a white van, no lights, up the car in fronts arse and generally being a toss pot!

So anyway, i'm cooking dinner and thought i'd make the effort and catch up on the last few months.

Well June came along and with it my brother got married and a holiday to Cuba. The wedding was lovely and Cuba was very cool - 4 days in Havana and then 10 days spent on the beach in Varadero, with of course pasty boy Mat burning, much to my amusement.... Despite having a conversation the day before about how hot the sun is and how it reflects off of sand causing you to burn in the shade the next day he was a delightful shade of lobster. When I asked what factor lotion he had on, he replied none as he was sitting under the umbrella!!! Stupid is as stupid does......

July brought little Heidi into the world, well actually Bobs and Justin did but Bobs did all of the hard work!! She's absolutely gorgeous but unfortunately takes after her dad in certain areas, ahem....

August was another excuse for a holiday, my birthday and so Mat took me to Spain for a week in L'Estartit - It was lovely, well except for the rain... I also awoke one morning to find myself covered in ants, which was nice. Got some fab presents, a DKNY bag and matching purse and The Vicar of Dibley boxset, marvelous!!

A trip to V for the weekend which is always pleasing - Saw some fab acts but the best had to be standing in the pissing down rain watching The Killers.

It was then off to Georges parents hog roast, which hopefully is becoming an annual event!!! I was unable to go on the bouncy castle as I had recently found out that my ankle problems were due to a torn ligament. So off I trundled to lay on the front of the castle to watch the others having 8 year old fun until then, The Chad struck!!! Despite him knowing about my ankle he still felt the need to try and throw me on the castle...........by my feet!! I spent several weeks on crutches and painkillers :-)

Hmmm, September. Well after months of crappy underhand things going on at work, I finally handed my notice in and with that came 4 weeks of garden leave so I took my ma to Spain to visit Maureen for a week. Weather was lovely and we stuffed our faces, which is always nice. Oooh, almost forgot Mat and I made it through our first year, when I say we I meant Mat....

We went to Twickenham with Rhys and George to see The Police, it was fab, despite Mat, Rhys and George only knowing some of the songs as they are all too bloody young!!

We also had a relaxed weekend in Aldeburgh with Phil, Vicki and JP, this obviously involved a 3 hour lunch in the Lighthouse. A trip to Snape and fun and frolics on the wii.

A trip to Manchester and Blackpool in October, I had to take my car back to the office so Shaun took a couple of days off. We had a trip to the Trafford Centre, a night out with some of the guys from the office which involved a trip to Buffet City, mmm yum!! The best part had to be our day trip to Blackpool. The sun shone, it was lovely, we had a walk and back down the golden mile (thought it felt like 7!!) this was eased by the purchase of donuts and also a detour to watch Blackpool rock being made (free samples!!) and then we hit the pleasure beach - it was awesome!!! Went on nearly everything as it was empty. Highly amusing as half the time we didn't even know what the rides did. I was extremely proud of myself for going on the Pepsi Max not just once but twice!! Although the funniest part was seeing Mats face as we got off the Tango ride (A bit like detonator but throws you up aswell) He was a nice shade of grey mixed with green, bless him. Obviously Shaun and I were highly amused. Upon returning home from Manc land we went to collect my new car, I love her!! Her name is Emily and she is a 2 year old Renault Megane.

I started my new job, which seems okay so far and i'm getting to grips with it but completely different from RentSmart so a big adjustment. I also went to Thorpe Park with Shilson and Sadler and met Shaun and his buddies for some welcomed fun. I did actually go on Stealth however I had my eyes so tightly shut that I missed it all - perfect!! Dave and Mat went on it twice but Shaun and his buddies did it 5 times in a row - nutters!!

So here we are in November, we've had an evening on Button Common to watch Fireworks, JP's birthday, a visit to the theatre to see Lord of the Rings, which was fab - another trip to the theatre (this one courtesy of my cousin) to see Desperately Seeking Susan, which was okay, the music was cool but i'm not sure about the show and as I said, the arrival of little Christopher.

Lots going on over the next few weeks so i'm gonna try and blog regularly, so watch this space, though not too closely as lets face it, it probably won't happen!!
