Well, where do I start??  I was stuck for a New Year resolution (given that i've given up nearly everything but i'll come on to that) so I made a statement in that I'd blog regularly!  Its now Feb and lets just say it's been a slow start........  You'll also see that Mat has made this a proper website, hence the delay in me starting my blog - I didn't know how to use it!!

So, its February, a year since I wrote last and well, quite alot has happened - I'll stick to what I should have blogged about but in brief:   Mat and I went to Amsterdam, cold but good. Nix had a birthday, girlie dinner. I started a new job - CSG as an Account Mananger and so far so good!! Saw The Cure at Wembley - amazing!! Went on a diet - lost the 3 stone that i'd put on from stopping smoking the year before!! Justin turned 40!! Saw Mama Mia with Mat - think he enjoyed it more than me......  Mat had a birthday weekend, Southend Sea Life centre, followed by fish and chips??!! Peter Pans and chav central for the arcades oh and a BBQ. Had a marathon weekender starting at The O2 - saw SATC - The movie, had lunch, saw Indiana Jones, had dinner at Gaucho, mmmm then saw Boyzone - OMG I love them!  The following day was Christophers christening - he looked gorgeous, got drunk (me, not Christopher) and went for a chinese!! Amusing in the church, a gay, a jew and an athiest all sat in a row! Took my mum to Aldeburgh, it rained! Another weekend in Aldeburgh with Mat, Nix, Dave, Mart and JP - lots of cider and cakes, I fell over!!  Heidi turned 1, we all went to Colchester zoo. I had a root canal, which was nice...  Dave and Rhys had birthdays so we had a fab weekend in Aber, I walked (yes you did read that right!!) to the top of Constitution Hill or as Nix likes to call it, Prostitution Hill er, got extrememly drunk with Shaun (pics can be found on my flickr) er Mat and I decided we'd make great parents (worrying!!) and maybe we should consider it. Played a game of volleyball on the beach! Mat and I went to his friends wedding in Chesterfield, I turned 35 and got depressed, celebrated my birthday with a picnic in the conservatory at Sunshine House (it rained all day) followed by a trip to Broomfield with the remaining picnic to see Nix who was in hosp. Shaun came to stay as Nix was having annual hog roast, we all went to The Swan and got completely hammered followed by a curry! Mat and I thought we should defo become parents.  Hog roast day and it bucketed down so we sat inside, was fab and Nixters ma got hammered! Mat and I went to Spain and got engaged, yaaaaaaay! Decided that we should wait til after the wedding to become parents..... JP and Nix came to Spain for the 2nd week, we met them at the airport with a sign. Fab time in Spain, just chilled ate and drunk lots.  Came back to find out that Mat and I are going to be parents - Aaaggghhh!!! Was very shocked but both over the moon.  A weekend in Aldeburgh to celebrate our anniversary - I slept!!  Went to Five Lakes with Shaun, who also became a skinny and won a competition!  Started looking at wedding venues.  Had an early scan, saw babys heartbeat, aaaaah!! Jane had baby Sophia. Had an engagement dinner, everyone drunk except me, managed to not raise any suspicions!! Went to an epilepsy charity dinner, again stayed sober!  Had 12 week scan - aaaah - still not feeling real! Button Common for Fireworks, it hammered down so we all went to the pub, Mat, Mart, Phil, Vicki n Christopher braved it!! We told the gang about the baby, met with blank looks before registering, bless Vicki and Justin.  Grant and Suz also having baby - due within 5 days of each other. Sadlers are taking over the world. Took parents to see wedding venues, booked one, getting married!! Gabriella had 1st birthday bbq as did Christopher, well 1st birthday not bbq.  There were 2 cakes followed by curry!! Went wedding dress shopping whilst I could still fit in them!! Breathe!! Er, bought wedding dress!! Brentwood lighting up, Gloria Hunniford, rubbish!! Was v cold!! Had curry. Vicki turned 30 with wig!! Gang Christmas meal at a chinese. Martin had a birthday, Green Man. Baby starting to move - freaky!! New Year away with the gang to Cratfield, Murder, Mystery, bad accents, very funny! 20 week scan, aaaaaah cept fidget wouldn't stay still so had to go back and sorta brings us to now!

So yeah, the baby or Chauncy as it is now known (after friends of course) is due to make an appearance in May and our wedding is booked for December so gonna be a busy year.
